When the citizens of Bikini Bottom discover that a volcano will soon erupt and destroy their humble home, SpongeBob and his friends must come together to save the fate of their undersea world.  With lives hanging in the balance and all hope lost, a most unexpected hero rises up.  The power of optimism really can save the world.  Roles for all ages, all roles are open!

Registration table will open at 6:30 PM; please bring a current head shot if you have one.  Vocal auditions will begin at 7, and you will sing in the order in which you registered.

Auditions will consist of singing a song of your choice. Prepare a song in the style of the show that highlights your vocal range and strength, as well as your personality and stage presence.  You can sing a cappella, bring your own accompanist, or sing with a soundtrack if the track has no vocals (bring your own electronic equipment).

We will teach a short choreography routine after the singing auditions.  Wear comfortable shoes and appropriate clothing for the dance audition.

Auditioners who seek a speaking role will do cold readings from the script in a group setting.  Callbacks (if needed) will be Thursday, February 29, at 7:00 PM at the audition location.

THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals.  www.concordtheatricals.com.  Kasi Jones is the show director, Don Jones is the music director, and Catie Bell is the choreographer.

Show dates are May 3-5 at University Church. Rehearsals will be on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and some Friday evenings beginning Thursday, March 7.
